Writer's block, an owner's guide: Ideas for fast writing

Some things worth thinking about, offering different types of help to people who want to get on with their projects:

Write 50,000 words in one month! National Novel Writing Month, which seems to be international, includes bulletin boards to share your thoughts with other people taking the same challenge.

Write 35,000 words in one weekend! The Great Mahakali Write-a-thalon happened in May and I’m not sure if there are plans to repeat it.

Finally, changing the subject a little because I don’t know where else this belongs, how about sending yourself reminders, encouragement, whatever, to be delivered on future dates? futureme.org looks so simple and useful - but what it’s useful for, I leave the reader to decide.
